Women's Soccer: RVC falls at home; region tournament play begins this week
Rock Valley College fell at home to College of DuPage on Friday 3-2 in a game played for bragging rights. Prior to the game, the Golden Eagles had secured the #2 seed in the region tournament and a first round bye. COD who is the #1 seed also receives a first round bye. Both teams protected many of their top players to avoid injury as the game held no meaning in the standings.
The Golden Eagles will host the winner of Harper/Triton on Saturday, October 24th with the time TBD. Harper plays at home vs. Triton on Tuesday, the winner moves on to take on the Golden Eagles who finished the season 7-4 overall and 7-3 in the N4C conference.
