The Rock Valley college baseball team finished up their regular season this past weekend a pair of losses to Moraine Valley Community College. The losses dropped RVC's record to 41-15. The 41 regular season wins breaks the school record for the program previous 38.
Rock Valley's standout regular season would lead to RVC earning the number 5 overall seed in Region 4 tournament. The five seed would see Rock Valley hitting the road to travel to Black Hawk College in Moline, IL.

RVC will open up the Region tournament this upcoming Friday and Saturday starting at 10:00 AM Friday. In game one Rock Valley will take on Morton College. Game two will take place at 1:00 PM with RVC battling the host school and #4 seed Black Hawk. Game Three will take place at 4:00 PM where the Black Hawk will take on Morton.

Saturday will begin at 9:00 AM where the 2-0 team will take on the team that went 1-1. The 0-2 team will have been eliminated from the postseason. A second game will only be necessary if the 1-1 team wins at 9. There will be a win or go home game at 11:00 AM if that is the case.
