September 17 (Rockford, IL) - Rock Valley College Women's Soccer put six first half goals by the
Oakton Owls to go six straight in Region IV. The 6-1 win is seven straight wins for the Golden Eagles as they move to 7-2-1 overall and 6-0 in Region IV on the season. The win also breaks a program record held by the
2016 team that scored 62 goals in 18 games. Assistant Coach
Erin DiSanti was a stand out in that 2016 team she had the following to say about the accomplishment, "We have a special group of players that have continued to set the bar high for themselves in training and it is showing in performances. Matching the accomplishment is impressive especially since we are only about halfway through the season. Looking forward to see what other accomplishments this group is able to obtain."
The Golden Eagles will take on two more Region IV opponents at home this week starting with
Prairie State College Friday September 22 at 2:00 pm and
Illinois Valley College Sunday September 24 at 11:00 am. Home games will be live streamed for $5 and the link can be found onÂ
