Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Golden Eagles started off 2023 with a bang, defeating Harper College 109-59. Rock Valley had one of their most efficient nights from the floor shooting 58%. The Golden Eagles were down 0-6 to start the game but would rally and take the lead into half time 53-33. The Golden Eagles would cruise in the second half and finish off the Hawks out scoring them by 30pts in the second half. Armond Williams had a game high 20pts and added 8rbs. Kamran Banks had a career high 14pts and dished out 7 assists. Daniel Rosado and George Williams both ended in double digits for scoring.

Rock Valley was back in action today against Illinois Central in the annual Rumble in the Rock. The Golden Eagles entered the game 8-8 on the season and looking to get on a three game winning streak. The Golden Eagles took down the Cougars 73-71 inside the PEC. The Physical Education Center was rocking, a great turn out helped propel the Golden Eagles down the stretch. In an event that features local high school teams it was the local players of George Williams and Antonio Leavy that carried Rock Valley. George Williams scored 21pts on 5-9 from the 3pt line. Antonio Leavy scored 23pts and grabbed 7rbs.

The Golden Eagles are now 9-8 on the season and will head to #RV Spoon River on Tuesday.
