Box Score The Golden Eagles improves to 3-1 on the year against a Region IV DII opponent Blackhawk College. RVC outshot Blackhawk 25 to 10 but failed to convert a majority of their 17 shots on goal. #1 Isabella Garrelts into the Pacheco's diagonal run and was able to beat two players down the channel before cutting inside beating the goalkeeper and finding an empty net. The Blackhawk goalkeeper did well on several shots and a few 1v1 saves to keep the deficit at 1 going into the half.

Kevan Watkins commented on the win, "we are a bit frustrated giving up the goals we did, Blackhawk took their chances and really put us under a bit of pressure. Although, we continue to create a majority of chances in games we have to be more clinical in front of goal. I am hopeful that this will be something that we capitalize on as the season progresses."
The Golden Eagles will take on Region opponents Lake County College in a double header on Saturday September, 10
