Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Last Tuesday the Golden Eagles defeated the Spartans of Elgin CC 77-64. Blessing Nwotite led RVC in points with 17 on 6-11 shooting. Garrett Bertrand got his second start of the season and posted a double-double for the Golden Eagles. He had 11pts and 12 rebounds in 31 minutes. AJ Williams and Jason Ernest both were in double digits for the Golden Eagles. Rock Valleys defense was the difference in that game as they held Elgin to 31% shooting from the field and 25% from the 3pt line.

Yesterday the Golden Eagles faced Black Hawk - Moline in the PEC on the campus of Rock Valley College. The Golden Eagles came away with the 83-70 victory over the Braves. Rock Valley got out to an early 1st half lead and went into the break with an 11pt advantage. Jason Ernest went 10-13 from the field and scored 20pts while adding 7rbs. AJ Williams was the spark off the bench that RVC needed. He posted a double-double with 16pts and 12rbs. George Williams and Jordan Majeed both added 12pts, while Kenneth Garth chipped in 11pts.

The Golden Eagles take on Delta College, Saturday at 3pm inside the PEC.
