KNOW YOUR FOE
  • Milwaukee is winless in two matches in 2021 under newly appointed head coach Diego Garcia.
  • Saturday's match will be the Stormers' home opener.
  • Lake County defeated Kishwaukee in their final scrimmage of 2021 by a score of 2-1.
  • The Lancers are 1-1 on the season, beating Black Hawk College, 7-0, then lost 2-0 to Lewis & Clark late last week.

Series History Rock Valley beat Milwaukee 2-0 on October 9, 2019. Pedro Acosta and current captain Bernardo Dominguez were the two goal scorers.

Rock Valley were set to open Region IV play against Illinois Valley last week at home before a sudden schedule shift postponed the match to Oct. 2nd.

The shine from two dominating victories over Riverland (Minn.) and Lake County (Ill.) have certainly worn off with the two-week layoff between games. The Golden Eagles will now open both their N4C and Region IV play on the road with two straight trips to Wisconsin. Before their focus can turn to Madison College, Rock Valley will have to take care of business in Oak Creek, Wisconsin and keep pace in Region IV's playoff picture.

Last Time Out the Golden Eagles produced 36 shots (24 SOG) against Lake County in a 2-1 victory in their home opener. Rock Valley was very much in control for the majority of the match and conceded an 89th penalty kick goal for the team's otherwise solid performance.

UP NEXT
The Golden Eagles will travel to Madison, Wisconsin next Wednesday, September 15th to play Madison College. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
