The men's basketball team got back to their winning ways this afternoon. They jumped out to an early lead and led 51-29 going into halftime. They would finish the game on top 105-66. The Golden Eagles had several players post career highs in the win.
Nick Pierson shot 11-13 from the floor and scored a career high 26pts.
Nick Phillips also had a career night against the Hawks by scoring 29pts and hitting 9 three pointers.
Keyvondre Cummings got his first start of the season and came away with career highs in points (13), rebounds (9) and assists (7). New comer to the team
Jahsan Upshaw scored 12pts off the bench.
"We had a lot of guys step up today. We were missing a few guys today and Keyvondre and Nick (Pierson) stepped up to carry us offensively.", Bredehoeft said. "
Justin Robinson stepped up and run the offense today, he got everyone involved" Bredehoeft added.
