RVC Men's Soccer wins home and Romanello opener

The Rock Valley College men's soccer team kicked off the regular season and the Tim Romanello era with a win at home over McHenry County College (NJCAA D2) 1-0. Middle Luis Leon scored the lone goal of the game in the first half of the match. That lone goal along with great defensive play from the Golden Eagles would lead to the win.

RVC Goal Keeper Christopher Perea came up big for the Golden Eagles on the defensive end of the field recording two big saves. Perea also recorded the games lone assists for RVC (1-0).

The Tim Romanello led Golden Eagles take to the road on August 28^th for a contest at Harper College (Palatine, IL) for a 4pm kickoff.
