Box Score Palatine, IL – The #8 Rock Valley Men's Basketball team got back to their winning ways Monday night in their make-up game against the Harper Hawks. Coming off a disappointing loss to Triton the Golden Eagles were eager to hit the court.

The past two weeks have been difficult for the Eagles as games had to be moved because of the winter storms thus forcing the RVC Men to play 3 games a week to finish out the season.

Rock Valley got off to a slow start to start the game and actually trailed Harper seven minutes into the game. A big run in the middle of the half sparked a 20 point halftime lead for the Golden Eagles 44-24.

In the second half, the Harper Hawks actually outscored the Golden Eagles 40-32. Coach Sandquist, although happy about the win, had this to say after the game. "Obviously, at this time of the year you will take an ugly win, we have some things we need to iron out and guys know that."

RVC had balanced scoring from sophomores Nana Kodom-Ayensu, Josh Streeter, Brandon Taylor and Bryanth Farr, all of whom scored in double figures.

Rock Valley improves to 16-5 and 6-3 in the N4C.

RVC continues their road swing Wednesday night against N4C rival Joliet.
