Rock Valley Men's Basketball Completes Comeback Against Waubonsee CC

The Golden Eagles have now won 3 of their last 4 games. The men's basketball team completed a 14pt second half comeback against the Waubonsee Chiefs to get the 94-92 win. RVC now moves to 3-4 on the season.

"This was the best game of the year for us in terms of our intensity and handling adversity. We stuck together when they made their runs and kept chipping away in the second half." Bredehoeft said about his guys. " We really attacked them in the second half, we got down hill and into the paint much more successfully. This allowed us to get to the free throw line and put points on the board with the clock stopped." coach Bredehoeft added about this team. "I was really proud of their effort tonight, we took a big step in the right direction tonight".

Charles Burnell continued his hot shooting by pouring in 32pts, Burnell did his damage at the FT line by connecting on 17 of 20. He also added 8rbs to go with it. Brayden Hennis(15), Michael McDermott(17) and Nick Phillips(11) all joined Burnell in double digits. Hennis and Burnell lead the team in rebounds with 8 each. Hennis added 4 steals to his stat line.
