M-Basketball: #9 Golden Eagles Win at NJCAA DII Wright
Box Score #9 Rock Valley College avenged their first N4C loss of conference play in defeating NJCAA Wilbur Wright College 87-82 on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles move to 21-5 on the year, and 6-4 in N4C play.
"I was impressed with our grit," said Head Men's Basketball Coach
Evan Lavery. "Road games are tough. Road games in conference play are really tough. We had some moments of unpleasant basketball, but our effort did not waver. We did not guard the arc great, but overall, I was pleased with our defensive effort given the tempo of the game. Our last 4 games of N4C play will be tough, but we are excited about our opportunities moving forward."
