Box Score #6 Rock Valley College Men's Basketball took care of business from start to finish against Milwaukee Tech over the weekend, winning 81-64 in The Nest. The Golden Eagles took the first lead of the game and held on for 40 minutes. With the win, RVC moves to 23-5 overall and 8-4 in N4C play.

"We played for a few more minutes than we did against DuPage on Wednesday," said Head Men's Basketball Coach Evan Lavery. "I thought our backcourt played a very nice game. They scored it, rebounded well, and made good decisions with the basketball. Our frontcourt rebounded the ball well. With the regular season finishing up this week, we need to stay focused on the task at hand and continue to strive for what we have emphasized since Day 1 - doing what we do better than yesterday."

The Golden Eagles led 31-13 to start the half, and held a 45-30 advantage into halftime. The Golden Eagles had 4 players record double figures, led by Chicago native Darius Branch with 22 points (5-12 3PT). Malique Ross (Montgomery, IL) recorded 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Elijah Pappas (Rockford, IL) stuffed the stat sheet with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. Freshman Rico Duncan (Noblesville, IN) scored 10 points off the bench. Sophomore forwards DeMari Davis (Indianapolis, IN) and DeAnte Barnes (Belvidere, IL) both hauled in 10 rebounds each.
