M-Basketball: Golden Eagles Drop 2 Last Week

Box Score 2 The nationally ranked RVC Men's Basketball program struggled through last week, losing 81-65 on the road at Madison College and losing 74-66 against Joliet Junior College in the "Rumble in The Rock". The Golden Eagles fall to 19-5 overall, and 4-4 in N4C play.
"It was a disappointing week for our program," said Head Men's Basketball Coach
Evan Lavery. "Anytime you drop 2 games to in-region opponents, it does not sit well. We struggled to guard, and we struggled to manufacture quality looks within our offense. We have a lot of work to do moving forward. We have time to improve, but there needs to be a certain sense of urgency in everything that we do as the Region IV tournament approaches fast."
The Golden Eagles are currently 4th in the N4C with 6 games remaining. RVC plays on Wednesday at Harper College at 7 PM. The game will be played at the Forest View Education Center.
