Box Score The red-hot #2 Golden Eagles saw their win streak come to an end Wednesday night with an 85-84 loss against NJCAA DII Wilbur Wright College. The Rams Antonio Newman hit a buzzer beater from half court to steal the victory.

"Hats off to Wilbur Wright College. They are much improved from years past. They play very hard," said Head Men's Basketball Coach. "Despite not handling our business, we still had our chances to win. We struggled to execute in certain stretches. We struggled to defend in certain stretches. That is on me. I need to do a better job of putting our guys in situations to succeed on both ends of the court."

Malique Ross led RVC with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Darius Branch recorded 21 points. Elijah Pappas added 14 points, while DeAnte Barnes just missed a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds. DeMari Davis had a game-high 14 rebounds to go along with 8 points.
