M-Soccer: Joliet Junior College Wolves Bite RVC
RVC Men's Soccer lost 3-2 at Joliet Junior College. The Golden Eagles fall to 6-6-1 overall.
The Golden Eagles drew first blood, with
Alt Flores finding the back of the net 4 minutes into the match. Joliet's Gustavo Ramos Buonop scored minutes later to tie the match up at 1. Out of halftime, Flores scored again for RVC. That lead did not last long, however, as Ramos Buonop scored again for Joliet in the 65th minute. Joliet scored again in the 67th minute, which put them over the top for good.
"We started strong, but ran out of gas," stated Head Men's Soccer Coach. "You cannot have mental lapses and expect to win in our league. You cannot have massive defensive breakdowns and come out with a win."
