Golden Eagles Fall to #3 NJCAA DII Triton
Rock Valley fell to #3 NJCAA DII Triton College 67-56 on Saturday in the fourth annual "Rumble in the Rock"… RVC was led by 15 points and 7 rebounds from sophomore
Jace Kitchen (DeKalb, IL)…
Malique Ross (Montgomery, IL) finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, while
Elijah Pappas (Rockford, IL) added 10 points... Despite trailing by 9 at halftime, the Golden Eagles were able to erase that lead 3 minutes into the second half before Triton ultimately went on a run that proved to be too much for the Golden Eagles to recover from... Triton's Dante Thorpe led all scorers with 27 points.
