W-Soccer: #4 RVC Handles Milwaukee Tech
Despite rough weather conditions, #4 Rock Valley College (5-0, 3-0 in N4C) was able to knock off Milwaukee Area Technical College (0-2, 0-2 in N4C) 12-0.
"It was great to see so many different players step up when their number was called," stated Head Women's Soccer Coach
Carrie Barker. "We are fortunate to have quality players up and down our roster. Everyone played their part in tonight's winning effort."
The match featured ten different Golden Eagles cracking the scoring column, led by
Daniela Zamora and
Maria Olivares with 2 each. Eight different Golden Eagles contributed an assist, led by
Daniela Zamora,
Erin DiSanti, and
Cecilia Magana with 2 each.

In the most recent NJCAA DIII Women's Soccer Poll (9-7-16), RVC has jumped one spot to #4 nationally... College of DuPage (Glen Ellyn, IL) is the only other Region IV member making the rankings (RV)... The Golden Eagle defense has been strong all year, earning 4 shutouts in 5 matches... RVC ranks 5th nationally in total goals scored... The Golden Eagles have outscored their opponents 32-1 this season.
