M-Soccer: RVC and Joliet Finish in Tie
In a N4C battle, Rock Valley College (3-4-1, 1-3-1 in N4C) tied with Joliet Junior College (2-5-1, 2-2-1 in N4C) 1-1 in Joliet.
"The game started off relatively slow and sluggish for our liking," stated Head Men's Soccer Coach
Frank Horvat. "After halftime, we came out much more focused. We tied up the game, and continued to put a lot of pressure on Joliet. Unfortuantely, we could not find the back of the net to take a lead."
The lone Golden Eagle goal was scored by
Brock Tikson in the 67th minute. The goal was assisted by
Ricky Rubio.
