M-Soccer: RVC Tames Illinois Valley CC in OT
Despite trailing 2-1 at halftime, RVC Men's Soccer was able to pull off a 3-2 win in OT in Rockford.
Adrian Cuevas sealed the deal with a goal to finish the match for the Golden Eagles.
"It was nice to be on the other side of an overtime match," said an excited
Frank Horvat. "A few nights ago against Harper, we had nearly the exact opposite happen to us. We controlled most of the match and then let it slip away. In this case, we hung around, kept things close, and capitalized when we had our chances. Our guys stuck together."
In addition to the goal by Cuevas,
Brock Tikson and
Saul Vilchis also found the back of the net for Rock Valley College.

RVC Men's Soccer (4-3 overall, 1-3 in N4C) heads to Joliet Junior College on Friday, September 16 for a N4C match. Kick off is set for 4 PM.
