M-Soccer: Golden Eagles Top Milwaukee Tech
RVC Men's Soccer knocked off Milwaukee Area Technical College 2-1 in Rockford. The Golden Eagles improve to 6-6-1 overall.
"We were able to find a way," stated Head Men's Soccer Coach
Frank Horvat. "It was a back and forth match, but we were able to handle our business and get a win. We needed this one."
Although Milwaukee Tech struck first in the 4th minute, RVC was able to tie the match up before halftime courtesy of
Ricky Rubio breaking free and finding the back of the net. After an incredibly quiet 2nd half, it was
Brock Tikson who scored the go-ahead goal to put the Golden Eagles up for good.

RVC travels to Oglesby, IL to take on Illinois Valley Community College. The match is set for Friday, October 7th at 3 PM.
