W-Soccer: RVC Advances to Region IV Semifinals
RVC Women's Soccer came away victorious 3-0 over Joliet Junior College in the quarterfinals of the Region IV Tournament. The Golden Eagles advance to the semifinals in Rockford at 12 PM on Saturday.
"Win or go home is a pretty strong motivator," said Head Women's Soccer Coach
Carrie Barker. "I am proud of our girls. We looked hungry tonight. The loss to DuPage still stings, but we have to focus on what is in front of us right now. There is plenty of season left to make some things happen."

Almost four minutes later, it was Theien who scored again to put the Golden Eagles up 2-0. She then finished her hat trick in the second half, scoring in the 64th minute.
