M-Soccer: Golden Eagles Advance in Region IV Tournament
RVC Men's Soccer came away with their second win over Joliet Junior College in a 3-day span. This win, however, provided the Golden Eagles a chance to keep their season alive. RVC (9-6-1), the #4 seed, advances to take on Madison College, the #1 seed in the tournament.
"We played inspired tonight," said Head Men's Soccer Coach
Frank Horvat. "Call it fear of the season being over, or perhaps we were just ready to go. All that matters is we stuck together for 90 minutes and got the job done. I am proud of my guys."
Brock Tikson scored the match's only goal.
Ricky Rubio provided the assist.
