M-Basketball: #1 Rock Valley remains perfect, knocks off #7 Milwaukee on the road to move to 18-0

Box Score The #1 ranked Golden Eagles men's basketball program improved to 18-0 (2-0 N4C) on Saturday defeating #7 Milwaukee Area Technical College by a score of 75-65 in Milwaukee.

Rock Valley College was led by LT Davis who scored a game-high 22 points (6-11 3PT) to go along with 7 rebounds. Dalton Payton scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.  RVC big men Elijah Williams and Alec Pena each scored 12 points.  Milwaukee Tech (14-3, 1-1 N4C) was led by Austin Dunbar's 19 points and 13 rebounds.

"Conference college basketball games, on the road, versus ranked opponents are tough," head coach Craig Doty said. "We didn't play great but we did enough to control the game in a hostile environment."

The Golden Eagles shot 45.6% (26-57) from the field while holding Milwaukee to a chilly 37.3% (22-59) from the floor including 9-32 (28.1%) in the second half.

Rock Valley hosts Madison College in their conference home-opener on Wednesday.  Game time for the men is set for 7:30 PM.  The women will tip-off the double-header at 5:30 PM.
