The Rock Valley College men's soccer team started started off the regular season with a win at home over McHenry County College (NJCAA D2). Forward
Alexis Galvez scored his second goal of the game with under a minute to play to break a 3-3 tie and win the game for the Golden Eagles.

Omar Rivas each had one assist for RVC (1-0).

Frank Horvat led Golden Eagles take to the road on August 29th for a contest at Waubonsee Community College (Sugar Grove, IL) for a noon kickoff.
